House placement on the front portion of a large lot bisected by a small stream resulted in a very narrow area for site amenities. A linear design was developed across the entire rear of the house consisting of platform steps, a sun deck with seating, a paved dining terrace with an enclosed grill area and bridge across the stream to a pool, cabana and large grass activities area.
